Limitations of the Bol.com integration
Before you start using our integration, please keep in mind that there are some limitations with using the application.
Limitations
1. New orders may take some time to sync
The middleware checks bol.com for new orders on a recurring schedule rather than instantly. This means a new order can take a few minutes before it appears in eWarehousing.
2. Stock synchronisation is off by default
Pushing stock updates back to bol.com is a separate setting on the shop and is not enabled automatically. If you want bol.com to reflect your eWarehousing stock levels, this needs to be turned on for that shop.
3. Each shop needs its own credentials
Client credentials are created per bol.com shop. If you sell through multiple bol.com shops, each one needs its own Client ID and Client secret, and its own connection in the middleware.
4. Setup is not self-service
Adding the shop and credentials to the middleware is done by eWarehousing, not by the merchant. You provide your Client ID, Client secret and shop name, and eWarehousing takes care of the configuration.
5. Retrying cancelled orders
If an order is cancelled on bol.com or in eWarehousing, it will not be processed again.
