Sandbox
This page gathers UI-only Sandbox actions to help you test flows without affecting live data. Each section is a UI workflow, not an API flow.
UI only – not API
These guides describe actions in the WMS user interface (UI), not via the API.
Quick Ship Orders
Use the Sandbox UI to test the shipping flow without affecting real data. Simulate picking, packing, and shipping before going live.
Open the Sandbox UI
Open Orders in the Sandbox UI: WMS Orders UI.
-
Check the order status
- Go to Outbound → Orders.
- Select the order you want to quick ship.
- Make sure the order has status Planned.
Planning cycle
Tip: The system automatically moves orders to status Planned every 2–3 minutes. If the order has status Created, wait for the next planning cycle.
Backorder
If the order has status Backorder, increase the stock of the relevant product variant in Sandbox, then wait for the next planning cycle and try again. See: Increase Stock.
-
Locate the Sandbox Quick Ship button
- On the right-hand panel, find the Sandbox section.
- You’ll see a purple SHIP button when the order has status Planned.
-
Quick ship the order
- Click SHIP to instantly mark the order as shipped in the Sandbox environment.
- The system simulates the shipping process without affecting real inventory or customer data.
-
Confirm shipment
- After shipping, check the order’s State history to confirm it moved to status Shipped.
- Verify that downstream systems (e.g., tracking, webhooks, or ERP integrations) receive the correct data.
- To view the shipment record, see Shipments.
-
Notes & tips
- Only available in Sandbox: Quick Ship is for testing only — it is not available in the live environment.
- Status requirement: The SHIP button appears only when the order has status Planned.
- Testing multiple scenarios: Duplicate an order and repeat the process to test different configurations.
Increase Stock
Use the Sandbox UI to simulate inbound by manually increasing the stock of a product variant. This is useful for testing inventory updates, label printing, and order flows without real warehouse activity.
Open the Sandbox UI
Open Stock in the Sandbox UI: WMS Stock UI.
-
Navigate to the variant
- Go to Inventory → Stock Levels. Search for the desired article or SKU, EAN, or article code and click on the variant you want to adjust.
-
Locate the Sandbox section
- On the right-hand side of the variant detail page, scroll to the Sandbox section. Here you'll find the INCREASE STOCK button.
-
Trigger stock increase
- Click the INCREASE STOCK button. A confirmation modal will appear asking if you're sure you want to increase the stock.
-
Enter quantity and confirm
- Enter the number of items you want to add in the input field. Then click Submit to confirm. The stock values will update immediately.
-
Validate the update
